Our Mission
The West Coast Airsoft Association started as a place where Airsoft enthusiasts from the 6 west coast states could gather to discuss events, equipment, teams, competition, and much more about their local Airsoft scene. Our aim is to promote and prosper Airsoft as a safe and incredibly fun hobby.

We opened our doors in August of 2008, and are looking forward to hosting and promoting numerous events, having 1000’s of members, and millions of hits from around the world.

We hope receive an incredible amount of help from local teams and individuals who've made the airsoft community their own.

Who We Are
WCAA was founded by Sean Schooley and a few other airsofters, who had a goal to put together a hub for Airsoft activity in the west coast states. To learn more about specific people involved with the WCAA, please feel free to PM Sean or Tank505.

Where We're Headed
WCAA would like to continue to promote amazing events and activities for Airsoft and continue to further its growth in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, California, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada. We'd like to have a hand in making the West Coast one of the most popular and safest places to play Airsoft in the country.

More about the WCAA
The West Coast Airsoft Association is founded as a Recreational Association in the state of Washington, and membership in the association is open to anyone over the age of 14 who wants to support the continued growth of Airsoft. The organization is supervised by the one Founder, two Site Admins, and 5 elected officers oversee the day-to-day operations.

The current incarnation of the WCAA consists of numerous members from several different teams located in Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico and California. The Association membership stretches all reaches of the West Coast. Our members hail from all walks of life and all ages, ranging from the youngest at age 14 to the oldest in their mid 50's. It is an organization designed from the ground up to support and organize Airsoft players in the ten western states. However, state citizenship is not a requirement for membership, simply a desire to further our sport in a productive fashion. It is our hope that as an individual or as a part of a member-team, you will join us in this endeavor.

The objectives of our organization are further explained in our association charter, excerpted here:

To advance the sport of Airsoft and to assist individual Association members and their organizations;

To effectively communicate with members, government, the news media, Airsoft retailers and the general public, and provide a liaison between these entities;
To develop and maintain publications and other materials pertaining to our sport and the Airsoft industry;
To provide a variety of educational programs and materials to meet the diverse educational needs of the sport of Airsoft including but not limited to weapons safety and environmental concerns;
To assist in providing safe and pleasant events and locations for the enjoyment of our sport;
To encourage high ethical standards in dealings with fellow members and others, and assist in providing a fair and impartial forum for the resolution of disputes between members or others as they pertain to Airsoft;
To assist members in their career development and in job opportunities as they pertain to the Airsoft industry;
To interpret and report on changing social, government and economic conditions affecting the Association and the sport of Airsoft;
To recruit and retain members and to manage the Association in a manner that will effectively represent the views of its members;
To foster appropriate relations with other organizations which will contribute to the objectives of the Airsoft industry and the Association's members;
To conduct research and develop, analyze and disseminate information/data related to the sport of Airsoft and the Airsoft industry.
